3rd gen Tires VS. Fenders
Hey all a question from the noob (first post) I am looking to buy a 3rd gen and have decided on a 3" suspension lift with 285's on stock wheels to start with. My 2-part question is regarding the 3 different types of fender configs.
1. Clearance? Are they all the same? Or does one allow more clearance than the other?
2. Width? With the no fender flare version will the 285's stick out much?
Vise versa Will they fill the wells completely on a limited or look silly small?
Photos?
P.S. I have soured this board 24-7 for a week or so but want a few more opinions before I buy my rig, so spare me the "search you fool" responses.
Thanks in advance!
Jim

1-On stock rims they should not stick out even with no flares.
2-With wider flares like the limited they will obviously then be well within the flare. (Wider wheels will make it look better.)
3-If you park it the way you park the truck in your avatar, it won't matter - all tires look funny when exposed to the sky that way....

285/75R16 would equate to 33x11.00s more or less.
These all look like they may be 285s:

33x12.50s on stock rims with no flares:
