Its probably close to 10-12 quarts if you were able to remove it all.

Hey guys!
Just did some searching and thought I would reincarnate this thread...
I am looking to fully change out my auto transmission fluid due to the dreaded strawberry milkshake issue.
My question is with regards to sourcing parts.
NAPA has an auto transmission filter kit, which looks to have the gasket and filter.
Is this part what you guys might recommend (ie I see everyone is recommending the neoprene style gasket)
Or is there a better place to source this?
Thanks a lot for helping a relative mechanical newb!

Change the ATF by disconnecting the transmission cooler hose at the bottom of the radiator and have a LOT of new ATF on hand. There is only about 5 quarts in the transmission pan, but when you do a comlete flush, you are talking 15 quarts.
