Les Schwab makes a sort-of mt in the 33x9.5 but it costs 185.00. Big-O was another opyion but they too recently discontinued their only 33x9.5. As far as my research has concluded: the only two options excepting swampers, are bfg at's, and les schwab's ridiculously overpriced 9.5's. Did I miss anything?

Narrow is better for many situations. Tall narrow mud terrains are the preferred tire around here, except for the dedicated crawler/buggy guys.
Are those 15" rims? I need to do some tire wheeling and dealing. Got too many extras in the garage.

I have been running 33X10.50 BFG ATs on my 4-Runner for 2 years now. I like the performance of these tires so far. I never noticed a significant loss in MPG but did notice some power loss. They are awesome in mud and snow and have done well on some rock. Nothing hard. My friend has Cooper 33X9.50 on his old bronco. They work well but look odd. I have 2 33X12.50s MT's that I acquired for free that I am going to try, to see if I like the size, tread, and see where they rub.
