30 or 15 degree rock sliders?

Hey what up guys, i havent posted in a while here but im about to get some of the standard sliders from stubbswelding and i have a question. should i go for the 15 or 30 degree cant for the sliders? the step factor is not a huge problem for me so thats not why i need them but i am thinking that the 15 degree ones will stick out a bit further out from my truck which would maybe help protect the actual doors. but the 30 degree ones seem to wrap around more and provide more protection for the panels. does anybody have any expierence on this? im pretty much looking for the ones with the most protection and the ones that are the best for fourwheeling. im kind of leaning towards the 15 degree ones, anybody think otherwise?
thanks guys
andy

Well I don't have rock sliders but I do have nerf bars and they work in a similar fashion and the experience I've had with mine, I think the 15 degree would provide you with both the most protection and the best rock sliding ability. On another note even though you may not need them if you have a lady friend or wife they like to use them as a step. Good luck!
