3.0L Headers

3.0L Headers
Does having a body lift REALLY make that big of a difference when installing downey headers on the 3.0l v6? i really want to install them....WITHOUT a bodylift, but everything i read tells me its easier WITH one. so i'm asking people out there (preferably with rusty engines harder to get bolts off) without body lifts... how hard were the headers to install? what kind of problems did you run in to? can a sawzall still be handy?
thanks a ton for your time, i know this topic has been addressed, but i really want to be sure before i go and buy the headers
also, what do you think of the downey cross-over kit (header to cat)?

Well I can tell you this, just a 1" BL on my rig has made numerous projects that much easier. Header install, front diff swap, and clutch hard-line re-routing, just to name a few. I don't know about the 3.0, but a 1" BL and Downey Headers will not work on the 3.4L. Make sure this combo will work for you.
