2nd gen transmition, 5 spd or auto?

Hi All
We found a 95 4runner with automatic transmition to replaced our wrecked 94 5spd for $6100.0. It's in like new condition with 110000 miles, leather seats, 20000 miles left on Wrangler tires.

Our 94 was a 5spd which we liked a lot, so I'm wondering how the auto compares to the 5spd with the gutless 3.0? And is there any other suprises with the Auto trans we should know about?

Thanks

Beary

Just expect it to be even a little slower than the 5-speed. However, I haven't heard of any major repair/service problems about the AT.

I'm at 175,000 on my original AT. It is a bit sluggish, but it is with the 5 speed.
