2003 Tacoma 4X4 V6 questions
yall know your stuff so I'm asking...
Looking at one to buy, 140,000 miles, manual trans. Timing belt service needs to be done (never been done) along with a few other little things; broken antenna, passenger door does not open from outside, catalytic converter missing(stolen), straight pipe. From what I have read these are good solid trucks, you guys agree? what is a timing belt service gonna cost and what other things should I be looking at doing? Should I be looking at a clutch soon? It's not been used off road.

Can you do the TB work yourself or not?
What's the rigs maintenance history? Toyota Owners online website may give you some history info based on the VIN if work has been done by the Toyota dealer. NEVERMIND: This wont work since you don't own it yet.
Plenty of threads around here on maintenance items to consider.....
