199mm Caliper Rebuild Kit P/N

For those going the junk yard route when upgrading to the Tundra calipers, the 199mm rebuild kit is still available from Toyota

Part # 04479-0C020.

Took a while to find them as the PN has been superseded by the 231mm rebuild kit but perseverance prevailed.

I got mine today and confirmed that they are correct on the 199mm caliper I have waiting to go on.

Act fast if you want genuine Toyota quality, because there are less than 50 kits available throughout the country and when they are gone they are GONE!

Here's the best part, they list for only $14.67 but you can get them for $11 with a TLCA or TTORA discount !!

Tell 'em they are full of

Couple of things come to mind; 1) they looked it up and saw it was replaced with the kit for the 231 caliper and are trying to sell you that one. 2) This is a rare case when an "orphaned part" from Toyota went down in price instead of up. Your stealer is might be trying to bend you over and charging you the old list price. and/or 3) they are trying to sell you 2 kits (1 for each side) 1 kit will do both sides.

1st Toyota has them for a little under $10 bux plus shipping https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/partscat.html

Or call Burt Toyota @ 1-800-5258-8403 ask for Jerry in the parts dept.

Maybe Strap22 can square you away.
