I know...."updated regularly"....well, I have been trying
The sliders are gone now...new ones will be fabbed adn more than likely a 3.4L and coils(air shox in rear) will be pushing me instead of a 2.7 and air shox(still using them in the rear though)
Monsters! They are huge! Currie is BADASS!
I got 11 of them
It's a little dark but, you get the idea
I actually had to go 4" higher than I am in these pics(31" to bottom of frame rail is still pretty low for 38's)
The X-member will be notched for d-shaft clearance
Upper tri- 3link monting brackets(tacked in place)
Lower link mounts (pass. side)
Rear view
lower link mount(driver side...I see grinding that needs to be finished)

well also considering the fact that there isn't any "real" weight(no engine, tranny, t-case, interior and so on) I'm not too worried about it yet

It makes mock up so easy...think about it-tubing cost 9.00 a foot(for what I'm using) PVC conduit is VERY CHEAP(I'm an electrician) and light
Progress 5/18/06
I set my frame height tonight. I am liking 28.5" to the bottom of the frame rail. I have roughly 6" up travel (rear). I cut the old shock hoops out from under the front end and ground the slag off. I determined that I am probably going to need to reinforce the front end(due to the coils). But since I am dovetailing the front clip I think that I'll just cut the inner fenders completely out and rebuild it with tubing. Attach the fenders/hood/winch/grill/headlights and all my fender mounted engine components to the tubing(after writing all that down it sure seems like alot of work) I want to put a stinger on there too.
I'm gonna go and pick up my wheels tomorrow... I got 5 H1 DBL beadlocks that have been sandblasted and por'd for $225! HA! I am gonna order some 6lug centers in a day or two.
I got some prices on tires today:
38x12.5x16.5 TSL 6ply 188ea(no tax shipped)
38x12.5x16.5 TSL SX 196
what ya think?

i like those link ends and mounts alot, btw if you come across an R151 local (im in NC as well) and dont get it send me a PM, im in the market for one just not actively searching. If one came my way i'd buy it though. I'd like to run it behind my turbo 7M so i have one less component to worry about breaking. The W56 i have will be OK as long as i dont give it any hell.

Doing a great job, thanks for all the good info.
Did you look @ Interco's cosmetic blem section?
Tires that are reclassified as Blems are tires that were found at the final inspection stage to have some cosmetic imperfection. This can be something as minor as a tire with white letters having a letter that has some black showing in the white letter. "Cosmetic" refers to something that slightly affects appearance. Tires that have a more serious flaw are scrapped and never sold. Blem tires carry the same standard respective manufacturer's warranty. The exception is that a Blem tire cannot be adjusted for the condition that caused it to be reclassified as a Blem in the first place.
The list varies but i found some good prices on @ least half of the tires i wanted once.
