NickMiller's 88 Redemption Build
Hey YotaTech world! Haven't been around in about 6 years now. Being a young and dumb 17 year old I got rid of my prized 4Runner because having a Cummins was a lot "cooler" at that point in my life. Im proud to say after all this time I was able to track it down and bring it home. Currently in sad shape and going to need essentially a full restoration, but now I've got the time, money, and shop space to pull off the miracle.
Not sure who of you remember me from back in the day or who's even still active, but oh well
This is essentially how it looked is the last time I saw it! I kept the Downey "Prerunner" bar (originally on Chef's Ruby) and the Dick Cepek light bar when I sold it so thankfully it'll have the same essence.
Basic Plans at this point is a SAS, motor swap to ditch the 3.0, and essentially a frame off resto-mod. Needs a lot of TLC, but to relive my childhood it'll be worth it.
This is how it currently sits. And unfortunately it looks better in pictures
