Love your 4runner! Man it was pretty when you first bought it lol
ya two adapter plates and chromo shafts with a 30 spline final output and keeping them all 2.28 and im just touching what a brand new ultimate dual case cost. and ya she was pretty but u know how it goes. smash something in and then fix it so it doesnt happen again lol and i loved the idea of as half dove instead of a full dove...

AM I CRAZY for considerin 3 cases?
If you go dual 4.7s and a stock 2.28, you'll have the same triple setup as Marlin. When he factors in his 5.29s in his axles and the super low 5.15 of his imported diesel transmission he's running 1372:1 overall reduction. lol If you run that same setup with a stock G52 or G54 trans, you'll be at 1046:1. . . Or the dual stock boxes with a 4.7, 4.88s (I think that's what you said you're running) and stock trans, you'll be at 468:1.

To continue my rant for one more second, if Marlin installed a 3rd 4.7 set instead of the stock box, he'd be at 2828:1. . .

End Rant

Congrats on the getting the Top shift box. I'm going to convert mine when I install the crawl box. . .

Keep us posted with the install of the new box! Good Luck with it!

If you had a second top shift, I would be wantin' to trade you. But I've got two forward shift units.

If I talk to anyone thats lookin, I'll point them in your direction.

Looking forward to the pics. I just rebuilt my rear diff, but didn't get any pics.

I do have a question... What front kit should i go with. TG 3s or TG 4s? either pack may get a rear main swapped in to give me the added length of a ruf so i have a much better shackle angle and all that. IDK opinions greatly appreciated or and my goal tire size is 37-38s with a 25-27 inch frame heighth. soya input greatly appreciated

na. I wish i could spring for dirty 30s, but then again I have beat the livin piss out of my stock birfs and considers 2 blown wheel seals. 1blown lower trunion bearing and a cracked birf. not bad. so for now im staying 27 splined but trail gears chromo version.

I'm running a SuperLift HD 4" lift with seriously sagged fronts, but 2" shackles to level it. At the middle of the Drivers door, I have 24" to the frame, with 35" tires. You'd have to do some serious trimming of the front fenders and possibly tub the firewall to run 37s or 38s. Though you can move the axle further forward to allow better clearance. I've moved mine 1.5" forward so far and the 35s rub a little at full lock. But I also have to mention that's with a welded rear diff, so the body roll in slow turns is SUPER Exaggerated!! lol Especially on pavement and hard surfaces.

I do love the wider rear end and 1.5 spacers up front it actually helped the COG a ton

Thats my frame heighth, and i havent moved my front axle forward any,but use to rub horribly when stuffed at full lock... the 1.5 spacers actually helped, and as soon as the weather clears up and i can get my rear suspension done, ill be orderin a hanger kit and hysteer and all those goodies and doin an ruf setup using the projunk springs and rears together and if that doesn work then ill probably spring fora set of sky man springs or tg springs which if i go with tgs ill be swappin a rear main in but im plannin on movin the front axle 3" forward and then tubbin considering i have these really cool view holes in my firewall lol
