Little Elgers 82 build up,thread
I am going to start a build thread in hopes that the knows it people will keep up and answer my questions, as it seems every day I have new ones! Tonight my question is how do ou fix floor pans, mine aren't that bad, only small holes, they are still firm, not rotted out but have small holes in them, is fiberglass the way to fix them? When my kids find out how to post pics I will put them up.
Thanks randy

Welcome to the build-up section! Can't wait to see what you got and what your gonna do to it. Most people install floor plans from a donor truck. I will be doing that soon myself. As for the picture, make you an account with photobucket and upload all your pictures to your account. Next go to a picture (in photobucket) you want to upload and right-click on it and click "copy image-url". Then in your yotatech post, click on the little yellow icon that looks like it has a mountain and sun in it. Then in the box that pops up enter the image-url for the picture you want to post. If you can't get it to work show your kids and they should be able to do it and show you. Lets see some pics!

I'm working on the pics , but the right clicking doesn't apply to iPad. I found a 81 diesel in a junk pile that has a good tale gate, what a find! Th po said it ran when parked but " dad" wouldn't buy ant more batteries so it got junked. It also has good seat foam and some good small parts so maybe I can get my monies worth, when I finish maybe someone will want the diesel and tranny. I got some .024 mig wire, and can now weld on the light sheet metal so I can move on withfloor pans.

While I was under the truck I stuck my finger inone of he holes on the frame side, it is half full of mud, this truck has been under a shed for five months and it is still wet mud. Has anyone drilled some holes in the bottom of tthe fame to allow hosing the dirt out to prevent frame rust?
