This little bastard was about two inches from my hand when I reached or a tool, his head was still attached then, glad it was cool and he was docile, didn't even rattle.

The glue that holds the sheet metal on my hood has came loose. I got some of the glue that they put windshields in with. Is this a good choice or is there something better? I am just about finished with the body work on the hood, hoping to get to the paint room tomorrow. I have to go to town tomorrow, 45 miles one way, I guess I kind of live in the sticks, to get some paint. I am having trouble finding the color I want because I don't know the code.
Also what is required to swap a sr5 cluster in, with the addition of the tach and all? My old wiring harness is short one wire on every plug, I guess these are the tach wires. I also want to put the volt and oil gauge that go in front of the shifter. What does it take to install these?

Thanks. Yeah I'm thinking OME, hell I guess another k at this point won't matter much, I need the whole kit. I did get it moved to the paint room but by the time we got prepped and taped I was tired of t again, so ill squirt paint in the am. I really need to get painted o I can get to something more fun, like reassembling.

Most people recover from rattle snake bites ok, but I have a short attention span, if I don't hurry up and get this truck finished it will be barn ornament for a year before I get fired back up, and my daughter Said I wouldn't get it done, so there's a challenge.

My nephew got it on he foot when he was bout 10 it was nasty, I've never been bit by a snake, but my whole family has had multiple scorpion stings, our place is full of them. This color was not my first choice, but after four hours of finding paint codes and getting samples made and they were either too expensive $600/ gallon or paint types that were above my experience, this is my first vehicle painting, I finally came up with this one, I like it very much though.

I don't really see how gas mileage is important when you're trying to get to the hospital :p

The box that my fresh painted tail gate was resting on got wet and fell over, dammmit! Bent the drivers side bottom corner, hope I can bend it back without repaint

Thanks Lon, I wish I would have been as thorough as you with the frame off and all, when I started this it was only to replace the front crank seal, while I was that far it was a good idea to check the oil pump since it was right there, it was badly worn and full of metal shavings, so better check some rod and crank bearings, they were worn through pretty bad, so might as well rebuild, well while we are down might as well fix the seat, and so on, so might as well restore. That's how this got started.
