I did! Haven’t done much with it, had to replace the parking brake cable that snapped on me. The damn door speakers keep falling out so I stopped messing with them. I mostly run to the landfill with it or maybe take it fishing. Hoping to put the camper top back on today

Glad to hear it! I actually did something similar with my Chevy. Sold it to a coworker who blew the power steering pump after a few weeks, so he sold it back to me. I'll let it rot away in the yard before I sell it again

I sold a Ford Pinto I owned, 1975 Pinto, to a friend of mine I knew in the base housing I lived in.
Within in a week, he was having a lot of fun, trying to get it to do a burn-out. He revved the engine as high as it would go, and dropped it into drive. Threw all kinds of goodies out through the hood. He said it was a POS, and didn't want to pay me for it. Went to his CO, and he made the guy pay me. Not a friend, any more. They made him clean up the oil and whatever it spewed all over the place too. He was MAD, but hey, HE did it.
I actually LIKED that Pinto I was sorry to see it hauled off for junk...
