UPDATED: 84-88 Toy Fiberglass Hood & Smoothie Cowl
Up for consideration is a custom, hand made fiberglass hood & Smooth Cowl. This pair is unique and light as a feather! The hood weighs less than a full gallon of Milk! Here is the information on the parts:
The Hood:
4 Ping Locking Fiberglass hood. Mr. Gasket locking hood pins, one @ each corner. No major fabrication needed to install it. I utilized existing holes on the OE Hood hinges, these are used for the back mounts and the core support up front has holes close to the battery hold down on the Pass side and by the coolant overflow on the Driverside.
These hoods are made once ordered from toyotafiberglass.com. Corey makes these hoods up good and they retail for $330 USD. The hoo has been sanded and primered and ready for paint. Aside from the primer, there hasn't been a drop of paint on it! Here are some pictures:
The cowl:
This piece is a 'Smootie Cowl' - it is designed and made without the Defroster vent slits in the top. This is alos never been painted with the exception of Primer. This design does not effect the performance of the defrosters or vents. It works just as good as with a OE cowl. These retail for $80.
Here is a shot of the cowl:
These pictures were taken prior to the primer.
I am asking $150 for both, ship on your dime. Frieght would be best.
PM me with any questions or e-mail: jcbnaz (at) cox.net
Thanks!
John
