79-85 custom Pick-up/4runner 10" lift springs and accesories
Hi this is my first listing I just joined the boards, I have some custom leaf springs giving somewhere between 10" and 12" lift not sure exactly how big but the roughly those estimates(tape measure in pictures should help). For a 79-85 toyota 4runner/pickup, I bought these several years ago from a seller in florida, he had pulled the springs off a custom show truck sporting 44" boggers. I had planned on putting these on my 1984 toyot 4runner but never got around to it, I had purchased in addition an adjustable drag link and steering arm. I already had a bunch of u bolt kits and aluminum blocks(<--- wasnt going to use but will throw in for free). The springs are used but in excellent condition, there dirty but clean up real nice they have been sitting in my crawl space for a while now. I purchased the drag link and steering arm seperately new.
I dont have a set price but I am willing to negotiate and accept partial/full trades aswell, I could meet in-person within 100miles or so from my house. I could also put them on ebay and do the transaction through there since I really have no feedback for anyone to go on from this site, then send them freight anywhere nationwide. I would consider trades for 31-33" tires/rims 5-bolt lug pattern, winch, ...etc
Im located in Naperville/Aurora/West Chicago Suburbs just south of I-80 and I-55 junction, zip code 60564. Please pm me or contact me at kmrsfree@yahoo.com if interested, thanks for lookin
Kevin,
Front two springs measure approx. 12" inches from the ground sitting upright from the center of the spring to the ground, the rears are just below 14"

That measurment doest really tell how much lift you get. My 4" springs without weight sit about 8 - 10 " off the ground. It depends on how stiff the springs are, but normal springs will collapse under the weight of the truck. HD springs will flatten about 1" per 300lbs. If you can figure out the rating in lb/in you can give a better guestimate of lift.

ok thanks, ill see if I can find anymore info but when i originally purchased them I was told they were 10-12" lift kit im guessing its somewhere just above 10" inches once installed, they were custom made so theres really no refrences for me to go on.

Its quite possible they are 10" springs, they would just be SUPER SUPER stiff, as in you couldnt get them to flex by jumping on them... i dont reccommend it thou, youll fall off
You can see if there is a machine shop with a press that can measure pressure and see what it take to get 1" of deflection, then you can take the weight of the average p/u or 4runner to see how much the truck will deflect the springs and there is your lift.
Based on the previous owner using 44's with the setup I will assume they are 8-10" of lift, and super stiff.
