1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 TRD for Sale

I am selling my beloved truck. Its a sad day for me.

Here are the specs:

Tacoma 4x4 V6 Xtra cab SR5 TRD
Mystic Purple paint/grey interior
209,000 miles
Cruise Control
Power windows and looks
Deluxe Radio/CD/Cassette
Tilt Steering wheel
All weather mats in front/carpet mats in back
Bed liner
Fiberglass Tonneau Cover
both body and interior in good condition
mechanically good
Toyota Alarm/remote entry
Have all books and even original window sticker
basically its a bone stock truck.

I love this truck and the ONLY reason I am selling it is because my wife is due with our 5th child and need something a little more economical.

I'll also be putting on new tires. The ones on there still have enough tread, but have about 115,000 miles on them.

90% of the miles are highway.

I am asking $8500.00 OBO

Truck is located near Reading, PA

Will add more pictures when it stops raining

I wish it only said 20,000, but no it is over 200,000. Any takers? If you don't like the asking price make an offer.

Ya know what I hate? When people post a thread in the for sale section and the only people who post are the ones who say the price is too high.

Bump for a well taken car of truck

hey cougar, i think its a nice truck, but i think 8500 is a bit much for something with over 200,000 miles on it and no rebuild. thats all.

All I can say is this truck runs great and doesn't need a rebuild. It is well cared for. This truck easily will go another 200,000 if it is continued to be well cared for.

I was already under the truck searching with no luck. Trust me as much as I love my truck if I could turn it in for the rusted frame I would have. I think the buy back would have been about $14,000.

some 60 grit sand paper and a bottle of saltwater? or i could mail you a 55 gal drum of rust flakes from my '85 4runner and you could glue that to your frame. just thinking out loud.

"nice looking tacoma bump"

Even if that was a slightly high price at one time, it isn't anymore. Book values are for vehicles that aren't rare, as rust-free 1st gens are becoming.

That's what the guy who's selling me my new one convinced me of, anyway.
