1987 Long Travel 4x4 Pickup sold
I need to sell my truck. I thought about trading it a while back, but don't need to any more. I'm overseas most of the year now and my dad got a new car and doesn't need to use my truck anymore (he had a compact car before and needed a truck to use). So, it just isn't being used enough to keep around. It breaks my heart to let it go.
The bad: It needs a battery, the rear drive-shaft vibrates slightly (VERY slightly! Can't hear or really feel it with the radio on) around 68-75 MPH. It is very clean for the age but not perfect (it IS 24 years old now!)
It's a great truck that is very comfortable and practical on the street. It has been my daily driver for the last 3+ years before I went overseas. If you never go off road, there are probably better trucks out there; this truck is sometimes squeaky, it leans in the corner more than a stock pickup, and it is a 24 year old truck that takes attention. But if you are looking for a clean, streetable, practical truck that is AMAZING off road (I used it for camping, fishing, getting to remote photography sites, carrying dirtbikes), this is a good truck to look at. RUNS GREAT!

Also, I have many extra parts to go with the truck. I still have:
-original front fenders in great shape!
-Arb snorkel mounted on fender.
-Original diff (from putting the Aussie locker in)
-front sway bar and brackets (could be reinstalled if mounts were made for control arms)
-Some other spare parts
If desired, the truck could be SAS'd with the original front fenders put back on. If you did that, you could sell the front suspension and steering for about $1400-1900. I know this crowd is more of a SAS group vs. desert running group, so I thought I'd mention it.
