1984 pickup $1,000 o.b.o.

1984 toyota pickup xtra cab 4x4. 22R motor, solid axle. New fuel pump, new rear brakes, newer 16 inch wheels and Big-O Tires. Clean interior, body good shape for year, typical toyota rust; however, not as bad as most ive seen. 5 speed manual, manual locking hubs. newer grill, new head lights, all lights work. passenger tail light has a crack, but not bad.

Truck ran great, now has coolant in oil, im thinking it is a blown head gasket. I do not have time to fix it myself, or i would love to.

would make a great project for rock crawler, or for cheap truck. Take a look and make a reasonable offer!

pics

i have some better pics, but they were too large to post here. If your interested i could email them to you.

I really would love to keep the truck, but just dont have the time now, im re-finishing my basement, and still trying to find time to camp and ride the new banshee. I would hold onto it until i could fix it, but i dont think itll be good for it to sit that long.

Thanks.

it means sending you add back to the top of the list. every reply pops it back up there.

for example your add slides down the list. a "bump" kicks it back into the limelight.

bump
good luck

ya, only a few days, i listed it on ksl.com and it was gone. Guy who is buying it said hes goin to put a new motor in it and bed, then paint and take to guatemala and sell it. I had a buddy that the same thing happened to him, they didnt try to barter or anything, just asked how much, and paid cash. guess they are worth more than gold over there.

Its cool, gives me a grand to put towards another yota, thinking i want a runner? not sure. not bad for getting free, and only putting a few hundred bucks into to get it running after it sat for 5 years after it was used in a bank robbery.

Anyways, thanks again guys!

I had the exact same thing happen on an 88 with a blown 3.0. Guy came with a tow truck, gave me cash, and left. Didn't even look at it hardly. Said he was going to fix the motor and take it to Guatemala too...Maybe its some sort of scam, except I got real cash, lol...
