265/75 spare tire and load range ?

Ok,it looks like I'm going to get either another set of Yok Geos AT+II but I'm leaning toward a set of agressive looking Nitto TerraGrapplers and I was wondering if a 265/75/16 fit under the truck fine since I'll save my best Maxxis Bravo HT for my spare?

Also is a load range D too much for our 4Runners and does it affect driving or will they have balancing issues? The Terra Grapplers come in only D and E ratings so is D rating all right for a daily driver or should I stick with a C rating?

I have load range D BFG's on mine. The ride isn't too harsh for me. Seems to me that most agressive tread pattern tires are D and above.

OT: Does anyone have a URL that discusses the different load range ratings?
Just interested to know more about this rating system.

Thanks.

So,does anybody have an answer about my original question? Can you fit a 265/75 tire in the stock spare location. I'm getting the Nittos shortly and I want to take my best 265/75 currently on the truck and use it as my spare.

Yes you can fit the 265/75's in the spare compartment.

I have load range E Dueler Revo's, the ride is stiffer than my Load Range C Michelin LTX A/T's but its bearable.

let me know how the Nitto Terra Grapplers are... I am thinking of 305/70/16 or 285/75/16's for mine soon... I like how they are AT tires but look like MT tires... Very aggressive looking thread on them.

i have 265/75/16 terra grapplers on my truck ..and to be honest, they aren't nearly as aggressive looking as i thought they would be. ...next to the bfg a/t's on my girl's jeep, they look like street tires.

the d load range may be ok for a runner, but it's a bit too stiff for my truck. i can feel every little bump in the road.

...what i do like about them is that they ballance well. ...the old bfg's i took off wouldn't ballance worth a damn.

I think they look pretty aggressive and mine have already drawn looks from other 4wd guys. I know I just got mine yesterday but their dry grip is way better than the last two sets of BFGs I've driven on and they cost almost $150 less than a set of BFGs plus BFG's resistance to hydroplaning leaves alot to be desired.
I guess I'm used to a truck like ride since I don't think the Nittos are that rough and ride maybe just a tad rougher than the Maxxis Bravo HTs I just got rid of. I don't see where they look like street tires at all.
