So it all boils down to whenever you're crazy enough to attempt. Well, I guess it'll be in the 6 month range for us, just because of the weather. Maybe I'll have my camper shell by then, but I doubt it. You just can't bring marshmellows and forget the napkins like my dad did once. All my younger siblings had them in their hair and clothes.

Corey, with all the camping you have been doing in the past few years, you couldn't come up with a pic of a smore from your own album?
Neither could I, they are to good to waste time messing with a camera, and who wants marshmallow goo on their camera!

wow I know this post is old but i took my daughter camping at 2 months old. She had colic so she screamed alot well all the time alot is an understatement. The camp trip was the first time she was quiet for two whole days since she was born. Still an avid camper she is 5 now and camps much better then my 8 yr old son. But he is the future wheel man he loves to drive and work on trucks. God loves me lol

I stumbled across this old thread and thought I would give my two cents...
My daughter was born 5/16/2011, her first camping trip was 6/16/2011. If you look back to our history, we didnt always have nice houses. Generations of us were raised with far less then what you can take camping. I personally recommend a small bug net for a play pen or bassinet and lots of blankets! They will be fine, I assure you! Just keep the little one warm, bring plenty of formula and a small pot to boil water to warm the bottle and a way to dispose of diapers.
