A good source for the adapters, headers and mounts is http://adventurous4x4.com//catalog/index.php he sells the mounts for less than you could build them and has a very good discount on all the AA swap parts. As for the 4.3 #5 cylinder problem, thats a new one on me. here in west texas we put alot of miles on our trucks and I know many people have put 200k to 400k on thier 4.3's with no problem. I put 270k on a '94 work truck before I overheated it from a heater core leak while trying to work it out of a mud hole. We need more info on what you are trying to do. Year? model? tranny?

I run my 79 toy with a fuel injected 4.3 and a th350 adapted to a toy transfer case and i bog the crap out of that thing with no problems.
great little engine, and stick with the fuel injection, you'll like it alot better than a carb.. |
