Wait... I think I figured it out. It's the output shaft on the r151 that is a different spine count. So, this means that using a regular w series 5spd with a 22rte I can use either the stock 22re clutch flywheel setup, or the larger 22rte setup.
Is this correct?? Anyone can confirm it? I need to buy some parts tomorow or Tuesday.

I managed to mate my 22rte to the w series transmission with no trouble at all. I used the 22re flywheel and clutch set. From what I gathered, and what I saw within the transmission you should be able to interchange any of these parts with no modification. If you want more information go to www.22rte-trucks.com , there is alot of good information on that site.

Everything you have is a bolt on deal. No modifications. The only thing you need is a driveshaft out of a 4 cyl truck which are easy to find.

if u want to keep the turbo flywheel and pressure plate, get a clutch disc for a 92.5-94 22re, its the same size as the 22rte disc with 21 splines.
