What are the bare minimum wires that have to be connected?

I am trying to get my truck going and I wanted to know what are the wires I have to connect? I only want a tach, speedo, and the engine to run(of course) I have a new oil and coolant gauge and the bells and whistles need not apply. So what wires to I need to connect to make it run?

Are you talking about the wires in the engine harness?

I would get the wiring diagrams for the engine harness and ecu and for the truck you have and then you can decide what you want to hook up

You will need to connect wires into the big plug in the pic you sent me. You will also need to connect wires into the ECU plug that you were missing.
