Obviously my truck has way more tire to push then some 29s but it was a very impressive display of power.
Regear or put your stock tires back on, throw on a set of cams from Weasy2k here and that race will be much much much closer.

I know of someone that needs you old 3.0 in the Vernon area. Please let me know if you still have it.

Thats what i was thinking it would cost if i had some else do it. I dont know why but i feed on the adreniline (spell check) of completing projects....and doing it well. would want to try and do it myself. Ok i am done--no more hijacking

So you're not a Toy tech?

Whatever you say "MINI-Mike." Remember - white letters out!

so the whole engine swap thing is fine and handy..but honestly i agree with most people you can modify your 3.0 to do more..in fact one of the main reasons the 3.4 gets a better powerband and fuel efficency is because of its DOHC...but ive been looking into it..the 93=95 camry has the same v6 as the trucks(of course transverse but same block) but it has yamaha DOHC bringing total hp up to 185 hp..just 5 shy of the 3.4...doing this swap wouldnt be hard at all..heads, timing, and intake..thats all you would need to get the same kinda hp you'd need from a 3.4 and it sure costs a lot less, and is easier...i dunno if anyone has done this..but i wanna try..thats a rare toyota right there..
