Here is a thread with a bunch of discussion and some other links to options. Some of the links are probably dead by now though. http://www.yotatech.com/f2/superchar...-scoop-103436/

Where can I find the info on where to splice the jasonbox into the truck? I am building one but I am not quite sure where I should be looking and what I am looking for to splice into. I have a 98 4runner with 3.4.

Everything I know is listed starting on post #250 of this thread (page 10).

Just have to splice the box in somewhere between the ECM and the secondary O2 sensor. I chose under the hood as it was offered some protection from the elements there.

I spliced in at the back of the ECU.

Elvota, I'm finishing up details like routing stuff today, and remembered you used a Marlin brake line for your clutch. I hooked up the stock line with the ORS bracket today, and I think I like your way better. What was the original applilcation for this line from Marlin?

It was just one of their braided brake lines. You'll have to make sure you get one with ends that match your application. Male to Male, Male to Female... what ever you need.

I'm starting my 3.4 engine swap and was wondering what you had to swap around in the engine bay. Any charcoal canisters etc. I know you have to move the battery tray, but what else did you have to move around? I have read through your swap and it is one of the most detailed of them all. Cause of your thread it has persuaded me to do mine. Thanks

I've covered most of what is required in this thread, but I ended up reusing the original 3.0 charcoal canister so that wasn't relocated. The intake moves but that's straightforward since the 3.4 runs everything out the PS and you just have to follow it's lead.

Best of luck... it's more than worth the effort.

AWESOME THREAD!! Just spent an hour rereading it for the third time.

Curious if you ever got the ac installed and working and if you did a write up on that. If not, any advice, tips, concerns that we should be on the lookout for?

Awesome job!

Elvota is rarely on YT now as he is focusing on Mt Bike Racing.... Just an FYI. But this IS an invaluable thread!
