Steering Wheel Cover???

Well, my steering wheel has been "fuzzing" at the top, due to the fact that that is where I keep my hand while I am driving 90% of the time. I am looking into getting a steering wheel cover and am looking for suggestions. I want something that won't get hot/cold in summer/winter, but looks good as well. I also want it somewhat the same surface as the steering wheel, because I turn using one hand and it needs to slide underneath the hand so I can turn...if ya get what I mean. Basically, it can't be "sticky", or at least overly sticky! Any suggestions to what I should get and where I can get them. My last resort is the laced up ones that Walmart has. Thanks! :beaver:

Ryan, a few of us are runnering the WheelSkin's covers.
I ordered mine from Auto Seattle, and they call up WheelSkin's and have it made up for you, then shipped right to you.

Mine is the Eurotone model since it has two colors, and not one.
It was kind of hard to put on, and took a few hours, and some sore fingers, but it's worth it.

The cover slides through your hands effortlessy, and feels much better than the plain wheel.

That is pretty sweet. I will have to see if there is something like that around here, or if I can get ahold of one. I am sure that it is pretty salty, do you remember what you paid for that beauty??? :beaver:

It was not a lot, maybe $20 to $25?
I can't remember, but it is leather, and very high quality.

It's also the only thing in my interior I can use my Lexol Leather Conditioner on.
If you get one, pick up the Lexol at an auto parts store.

Alright, cool. Thanks Corey. I will have to shop around to see if I can get something like that, and if all luck comes together, I will get that same thing, except I think that I would want red. Who knows. Anyways, thanks again for the tip! :beaver:

If you don't have airbags, this will be a good time to replace the steering wheel with something a little sportier!

You know what, I liked my "WalMart" type laced steering wheel cover in my 4Runner I used to have. Didn't look okay, but it certainly gave a good grip on the wheel, especially in hot days.

EDIT...let's try that picture link again. Sorry about that Corey.

Yeah, I had one of those on my Corolla and I liked it. The only thing, like you said, it doesn't look too sharp. I wanted something that looks good as well as feels good. Thanks though. We'll see what happens! :beaver:

No picture still Mohamed. It says forbidden.
What you are trying to do is give us the link to the JPG.
Webshots won't allow that.
We need the URL to the page the pic is on, not the properties of the pic itself.

Well, I went out and got a steering wheel cover. It is called superskin and is a leather jobby that you have to "sew" onto the wheel. It is really nice and feels really nice. I got it at PepBoys for $16.99 and is a great buy. I really like it. I wish I had a digital camera to take pics and show all, but I don't, so I can't...LOL. Thanks for all the help guys! :beaver:

Yeah, I know! I will have to see if I can talk Santa Claus into getting me one! I hope so, because I don't have the $$$ to buy a good one, and if I do get one, I want a quality one and a good one! We'll see! :beaver:
