How do you remove grill to change headlights?
I got a 92 toyota pickup and I want to change the headlights. My problem is I don't see a way to remove the grill without braking it. Has anybody done this and is there an easier way to do this? I just really don't want to brake the grill. Thanks in advance for any help.

You do not need to remove the grill to change the headlights. At least I never have. Just take a couple of screws out of that metal trim piece and bend it out of the way. The headlight will come out easily. Don't take all four screws out because they are tiny and hard to hold onto (unless you have a magnetic screwdriver). This has always worked for me.

Getting the grill off can be done without breaking it but you will likely need to replace a few of the clips as they are brittle with age. I found on my 93 pickup that there was a way to replace the headlights without removing the grill. There are 4 screws that hold in the headlights. 3 screws can be removed easyly without removing the grill, the other can be removed by drilling a small hole in the grill just big enough for your screw driver. Here's a pic: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...57775808qAjJpg The headlights can then be pulling out from the front very easyly.
