Death Rattle... and an interesting idea?

I have an '85 Celica GTS with a 22REC engine that seems to have the death rattle. (rod knock). I also have an '89 Nissan 300zx that is STRONG but the body and suspension are just about beyond help.

I would LOVE to be able to drop this powerful Nissan motor into the '85 GTS, but doubt it would be feasible.

Just wondering what opinions there might be out there regarding this swap.

with the right fab work, tools etc, anything is possible. don't forget about a custom driveshaft as well.

There should be no talk of any significant mods until you do the first important one .... tighten the nut behind the wheel.

LOL I love it.

That's one nut that will always be a little loose. Maybe even cross threaded.
