Otay sounds like fun. You guys busy this weekend?
I did a solo run up Oriflamme Canyon on friday with some friends who have never been to the desert. There was a small section of the climb that looked like it WAS a waterfall at one point. The edge of the trail was washed out pretty bad and was a tight sqeeze getting through. I was actually kina worried I'd pull a "Rob". It scared my friends poopless. It was an interesting run to say the least.
There were signs at the trailheads saying "not a through trail" that I dont think were there there last time. Signs are probably accurate now after the rains.
I was bummed, my friends were holding on too tight to take any real pictures.
Sorry I didnt post anything beforehand, it wasn't my idea and kind of a last minute thing.

When I was going to high school we partied all the time in Proctor Valley-- you could dive for miles and not see a house. Now Proctor valley is only about 2-3 miles across-there is only 1 hill to play on, and at the top is a remote control airplane club. They gave me dirty looks last time. I dont think its worth the 20 min drive.
Hanglider hill is probably almost impassable now. Let me know when you want to go, and if I can I will join you.
