the date is friday, september 12th, sat 13th, sun 14th.
eric:
the dealer where i was buying the s/c from just sold the last one this week they had bought during trd's sale. he quoted me $1,850, but the dealer cost is now apx $2,200+. i just sent out a broadcast fax to 800+ toyota dealerrs this morning and hopefully at least one of them will still have one that they bought during trd's sale that they can sell at the lower price. emailed 300+ dealers yesterday, faxed 800+ dealers today, one of them has to have one. i don't think i can shell out the extra money for what the dealers are selling them at now.
anyone know of a dealer who still has one of these they bought during the sale?????????????

tom,
that's how i found my truck. there were none of these in san diego. i did some research, found an online directory of dealers, filtered out all the toyota dealers into a spreadsheet. then i made a doc that stated i wanted the '00 4r, 4x4, elocker, silver ext, gray int, at, and sport package. out of 800 dealers, i only found 3 trucks that fit this, and the next day flew to kansas city and drove it home.
so my mass annoyance method worked once, hopefully it'll work again.

Oh and have fun next month in Psimo, I won't be able to make that weekend.
If you haven't already, be sure to make reservations. They won't accept reservations within 10 days or less of the date you want.
You can call or log on to www.reserveamerica.com
Each vehicle needs its own reservation, and you can have up to 8 people per reservation as well.
