Hollister Hills - August 8th

I'm planning a trip to HH. It'll be my first trip with my 4Runner. It sounds like Bulldog-Yota is interested and sbrut95 may be as well. A buddy with a Heep with be there. I'll be camping there saturday night after a family deal in Santa Cruz then wheeling for most of the day on Sunday. I need to be back in Walnut Creek by 6pm. Feel free to join and PM me or post if you have any questions.

jimabean74 - Sorry man, I'm only free Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

bulldog-yota - I'm actually not sure now. I need to get a new TPS and o2 sensor and then try and pass smog again...... I'll still be going though, but I might be riding with my buddy in his Heep. I'm hoping time and money will allow me to get my parts and pass.

I'll keep this thread updated. I really want to go.
Steve

Sounds good Scott.

I found out today that I don't need to be home by 6pm on Sunday! More time to wheel!

I'll keep you all posted.

Why don't we meet at the obstacle course at 11am on Sunday since that is when sbrut95 is coming down. My buddy's got a green/blue lifted jeep with a tire on the roof. We'll talk about cb or frs communications later this week. Bulldog, watch your pm's, i'll send you my cell number.

It sounds like me, my friend with a jeep, Scott (Sbrute95) and you.

I invited Scottiac, Roger Brown, Robinhood150 and a few other people I know are local.

I got no CB, but I will try and time it so I get to the obstacle course at 1100. This will be my first trip up so hopefully I find you guys.

Steve- did you pass the smog, or is that still pending?

Robinhood - hopefully we'll get to wheel someday soon!

SC4Runner - Hope you can make it! I'll be in Scotts Valley for School in 3 weeks... I'll watch for your runner!

Sbrut95 - Still pending, i'm going to try and adjust the TPS some more tonight and then try and set timing again. The computer is still throwing a code 51 (TPS or A/C Switch) even though I pulled the EFI fuse for a few minutes (and replaced the TPS). I'll keep you posted. Just look for Harvey's jeep when you get there - or in the off chance I'm running, look for both of our rigs. Pick up a map at the ranger station and they'll give you the code for the gate down the road. Just follow the map to the obstacle course, it's easy to find. PM me if you have any questions.

Does anybody have a spare CB for Sbrut95? I've got an antenna he can borrow. If not, i've got a few frs.

Ok, So I'll be meeting my friend with the jeep at Hollister on Saturday night. I'll be bringing my camry if I can't get my list of things done on the truck...... I might even venture over to the obstacle course in the camry just to get some pictures.... I have a picture of the camry with a wheel off the ground, but I haven't gotten two wheels off yet...... depends on how bad the roads are i guess.

See you guys Sunday!
