FJ Cruiser Facts

As seen in the FJ Cruiser brochure issues 1 & 2 available at your dealers, and in 4x4 magazines each month.

I am updating this thread, as I did not have all the sheets to scan earlier.
I big thanks to member 17mm for taking the time to scan the whole set for me.
I will also add more scans of other FJ Cruiser facts here that I come across.

Topic 01 Frame
The sound of metal grinding over rock is the sound of a ladder frame hard at work.

Topic 02 Traction Control
Active Traction Control.
Don't hate because it's beautiful.

Topic 03 Locking Differentials
Laugh in the face of gravity.

Topic 04 Undercarriage
All dangling parts left unattended will be torn off and left for dead.

Topic 05 Front Suspension
Solid front axles sure had a good long run.
Then again so did leaded gas.

Topic 06 Rear Suspension
545mm of rear articulation right out of the box.
You're welcome.

Topic 07 5-Speed Automatic
Funny how an 8-hour trail ride takes all the fun out of working the clutch.

Topic 08 6-Speed Manual
TV dinners. Drum machines. Automatic trannys.
It's a slippery slope.

Topic 09 Water Fording
70% of the Earth's surface is covered in water.
Here's 27.5" of insurance in case you find some.

Topic 10 Utility
Carpet is for your living room, not your truck.

Topic 11 Body
Curb weight, 4295 lb.
Apparently muscle does weigh more than fat.

Topic 12 Powerplant
Never let the law of physics stand in the way of a good time.

Sorry if I'm not supposed to post in here, but I love these ads! They're in the 4Wheelparts magazine. That's the only reason I look in that Jeep loving magazine... for these awesome FJC ads!!!

You guy's are welcome.
My original scans were 1460x2060, but I decided to cut them back to 1280x1806 each so there would be less scrolling.

Even at my high res (1680x1050) I run my desktop at, I can still easily read the text.

I will see if the 4WD Sport Utility mag has any in it when I hit the grocery store tomorrow.
I would like to get all of them in.

Just a bump, got some scans from a member, need his name still, and the scans are smaller than mine, but still readable.

Never have I had something that I have purchased where I had absolutely no buyer's remorse. The FJ is the most awsome vehicle on the market. Went to Moab w/ simple 3" suspension spacer lift and an aftermarket front bumper and had a blast! Hell's revenge, Fins'n'Things, etc. AWSOME!!!!
