5.29 gears? What size tires are you planning on running? You would want to be 37 or greater for that gearing. How about some specs on your truck and what you use it for. The more info you provide the easier it is to answer your questions.

the 33x13.50 i have now rub pretty bad in the mud. i use the truck in the mud mainly. i want to get at least 35s. i have 4.30 gears stock. what gears should i go with and where should i buy them?? i know im going to need more lift other than the 4" trail master lift to fit the 35s.

To fit 35s you want a 4" suspension lift and at least a 2" body lift. My 35s still rub occasionally at full stuff when turning so I wish I had gone with a 3" BL. 4.88 gears match almost exactly for 35" tires, otherwise your speedo will be way off. Too much gearing can lead to broken parts.
Try to find a reputable shop that does gear work, unless you have done this before. There are 4x4 shops all over this country, but I have heard good things about Randy's ring and pinion, plus they always advertise in the Cal4wheel website so should be alright. Where do you live?

No problems on the road at all. I did install a tranny cooler and do a flush to replace the fluid with synthetic. Nothing done to tcase.
Drive to baja or arizona with no problems, other then it starts to shake between 60 and 65, so gotta keep it 70 to be smooth!
