Voltage Problem With Injectors

I have a 1985 Toyota with a 22RE. I'm having problems with my injectors. I have ohmed out the injectors and there within the range.

I test voltage on the injector connector and I'm getting voltage on both wires. I know on the White wire your not suppose to be getting voltage cuz it's the ground from the computer.

But if I unplug the other injector that's in series with it and hook up the meter you can see the votage in the ground side go down. But if I plug one of the connectors back in the voltage spikes right back up in the other injector connector.

The hot side of the injector is always having power from the injector resistor. I ohmed it out to 3 ohms

I'm stumped

I have tested the injectors with jumpers and they all work fine. I tested them by unplugging the computer harness and grounding the wires. The injectors clicked just fine.

Could it be the computer?

I have no idea why I'm getting 12 v on both sides of the injector.

Its very confusing!!!!!

I did this same thing after a head gasket replacement. There is a ground strap or wire under the intake runners that grounds the computer and thus the injectors mine was tangled up in the wireing harness and i missed it when i reconected everything it attaches to the intake and that will get rid of your injectors having power on both sides

OK I found that wire white w/ black and they are grounded really good now. but still having the same problem. I rechecked my injector resistor and the voltage going in is the same as going out. thats not right is it?

Played with it more tonight and figured out power is flowing threw the injectors to the next one. All of them. How can I stop this? Will new injectors fix this problem? I can jump a injector to the battery and hear clicking.

The injectors don't fire until one side is given a ground pulse. When cranking the black/white wire I believe should get a ground pulse

i had this same problem, turned out to be bad connections(pretty common) in the harness about a foot in from the injector plugs.
