turning off lights locks the doors

93 4runner, 6 cylinder- I've had a bunch of electrical issues after hitting a green Ponderosa pine some yahoo dropped across an icy, snowy back road that I slid into going 30. I hit it so hard that the tree broke in half (10 inch diameter so you know it was a jolt) In the last year I have replaced the alternator (within a month of the hit), starter, and heater relay (just recently). Those things might not have been related. The light/door lock issue started shortly after the accident. The doors will also lock when a door is opened or closed or sometimes just by scowling at the vehicle (sometimes as I've walked a distance away, I will hear them lock). I disabled the driver side so I wouldn't get locked out but would like a more permanent fix. Now the high beams don't work. Fuses are fine. Are the locks and lights on the same circuit? might they also have bad relays, and if so, where do I find them?

solution

While trying (in vain) to find the door lock control relay that supposedly is behind the speedometer (I did find the flasher relay and fuel pump relay up there) I decided to disable the aftermarket alarm and that solved the problem.
