Spot,beam, or pencil?
#4
I understand spot and flood but I'm guessing pencil is just far bac as in narrow beams. Lol well Wyoming9 the lighting is offroad use I'm doing a 22in led bar between my stinger. And these go under where my winch would sit. Whole led front end.

I have been buying off road lights for 25+ years...I feel a pencil beam is a little bit wider than a spot beam, both long range..
spot beam example:
pencil beam:
general output diagram you have probably seen a few times:
this is my light bar, combo spot beam on the inner part, flood on the outer edges:
I think I will be moving to the outside of the truck, output is kind of limited by having mounted inside on the my cage..
edit:
a good pattern if you don't want a ton of lights tempting an oxygen thief would be a Euro pattern, offers a good dispersal pattern IMO
