06 4runner 12v plug problem
Ok my mom called me the other day saying she was having issues with her dc 12v plug in her 4runner. She said she's changed the fuse for the dc and ac plugs but still no luck. She's in beaufort and I'm in charlotte otherwise id figure it out myself but is there anything anyone knows of that could be the culprit? Thanks

Not sure if Toyota still does this, but in earlier models, there is a fusible link behind the socket that melts if the socket overheats or too much current is pulled:

On my '85, I found the link and it looked like a blob of melted solder (it was blown), so just soldered the two wire ends back together, eliminating the fusible link.
