Yeah, but there are some VERY cool 4x2s out there, especially long travel 4x2s.

Arghhh, to many mods.
Most of my mods were well thought out and executed for the end game goal I am designing my rig for.

But perhaps my favorite mod is the one that will allow me to spend the night(s) comfortably while out in the mountains.
I present you my executive suite, the penthouse

I dont know if I can really say whay my best mod ever is because many of the mods I have compliment each other so well. For example my 5.29 gears compliment my turbo because it spools so fast now. Plus I can pull 35s with ease. Lift helps with clearance and approach angles. Lockers are sweet. Winch and bull bar are nice. Hmm. I guess if I had to say I would say the suspension and driveline mods I have done, because they are the most useful when it comes to wheeling. Most expensive and coolest mod though is the turbo.

318 V8, NV3550 5spd, NP231D xfer, 3.55 gears, rear LSD, 31-10.5 from factory, 10 to 12 MPG (heavy right foot). Spent a lot of time in the shop, and to much $ on gas, broke 2 rear R+P (warranty ) and other recalls

Toyota wheels better, better MPG, paid for, and simple to work on

Hopefully you used ATF and not power steering fluid ... or you're gonna have some maintenance in your future!
