What do you guys use to treat your leather seats from heat and cold and to keep them clean and lustery? Mine are on the verge of wearing thin and begining to show signs of wear. Wondering if the Mother's products is a good thing or if Eagle One nano technology works? What about Vinylex?

I use the Leather Cleaner/Conditioner from Costco. Do not use ArmorAll or anything not designed for leather - the pH needs to be balanced.

I personally like anything made by Meguiars, and havent had any problems with them.

So anything that is specifically designed for leather. I used armor all in years past, I take it not a good idea. So what brand is good for not feeling all slippery when you sit on it, but lasts a long time. ANd not something that is super shiney either.

That's the other thing about the leather conditioners - they leave a nice, natural finish and aren't slippery. I use it on other materials where I don't want it to be slippery - the JetSki seat for one!

it seems that the cleaner/conditioner combo aren't the greatest? Am I wrong? The Lexol products seem to be the way to go. I mean first the cleaner and then a different bottle of conditioner is the better way to go. Kinda like wasing and cleaning and waxing your truck??

I find that a beautiful blonde or two work really well and if properly applied, they really make your rig look sharp, better than new.

Try it and see if you don't agree they are best things to happen to leather seats since the cow.

I think that Connelly Leather conditioner is good stuff, you used to be able to pick it up at any Jaguar dealer, but its only available online now as they had a disagrement or somehting about distributing it.

Depends on the type of hide, finish, color, laminate, top or full grain, etc. For Toyota/Lexus, Lexol is your friend. Don't use petroleum or silicone based products. There's a thread around here with an amazing post written by an equestrian with tremendous leather treatment tips. Either that or she was a dominatrix, I forgot.

Are you for real? Saddle soap and red wing leather conditioner?? I mean sure I used the saddle soap on my army boats. But for Toyota leather???

And plus that is a lot of leather to be saddle soaped?? But I guess if you really want some good looking and treated seats. How does using saddle soap andred wign conditioner compare to Lexol??

I picked up Lexol cleaner and conditioner at my local Toyota dealer. One bottle of each lasts a LONG time.
