T-case drop

How far does your t-case sit below your frame?
I'm trying to tuck everything up as high as I can, cut out the stock tunnel and am building a new one as well as a custom crossmember/skid plate. Gotta protect the duals.

About an inch or two (w/ the skid plate):

Once I swap in the clocked rear case, should be up inside the frame rails:

Yes,
Since my trans was never made in my Toy and the dual cases aren't even close of course. I have to build an all new cross member/skid plate so I wanted to tuck everything up as high as I can. Not wanting too move engine up just trying to get stuff looking right, tight and ready to go. See my build link below................

My only suggestion ( since I never done what your doing ) would be; Make sure all the oil in each part can stay where it needs to be. My w-56 drains into the transfer and back and forth. If You raise the transfer case for clearance but not the motor, wouldn't that make all the oil run down hill to the tranny ? Possibly causing little or no oil in the highest part. Like I said I've never done what your doing before but it sounds good.
