RAV4 V6 thoughts

We're looking at replacing my subcompact honda with a 06 RAV4 V6 AWD for a daily driver for more room and better winter perf.
We're comparing it to a 06 CR-V

Anybody own one of these?

I don't own one but test drove one about 4 times last year. I really liked it but since it was for my wife she opted for a Camry. I really wanted to get the RAV4 for her because of the seating arrangement (able to haul people and long stuff too) turning radius and thought it got pretty good mileage. Funny thing is that my 68 year old Dad is considering a RAV4 over a 4Runner to replace a Van because he feels it is pretty easy to get in and out of..
A friend of mine had the CRV and ended up taking back a couple of days later to get a Pilot....

I'd really like a runner, but the mileage isn't all that great and I know I won't need low range on the DD

I'd be wary of the mileage of the Rav4 V6, it'd be comparable to the 4runner. Those Rav4 v6's haul BUTT. They're 14 second trucks bone stock. So, with all that grunt, don't expect fantastic mileage. I imagine it'd be really fun to drive, though.

The CR-V does get good reviews so it might be hard to go wrong with either.

Hilarious, I've never seen that one.

Ended up getting a decent deal on a Subaru Outback XT LTD, lots of room and all the gadgets for her and turbo charged manual transmission subaru goodness for me.
