offset rims and wheel bearings

offset rims and wheel bearings

while i had my truck up on the lift changing my rims over, i noticed that there was a lot of play in my front wheel bearings. the rims i just took off have a major offset and probably contributed to a premature destruction of the wheel bearings.

but i look at the other rigs on here that have offset rims, are they running into the same problem i did or am i incorrect in assuming that the rims were the cause of loose bearings?

What is your backspacing?
