Master Cylinder 6 hours ??

From start to finish 6 plus hours sound about right ??

I had to make up one line . This Master cylinder was just enough different the one line could not be bent to screw in

It took 2 hours to get all 4 bleeders broke loose only one snapped off

They were rusted so bad they all needed to be replaced .

The easy part was bleeding the brakes with the new valves 4 corners done.I have yet to bench bleed a Master cylinder or mess with the LSPV after me one expensive attemot

Adjusted up the rear brakes the old Master Cylinder had failed internally that no fluid was going to the rear ... I had planned to do the rear shoes but they had half the lining left .

At 70 miles a week they should last quite some time

When having to work on trucks with rust like what you have to deal with, your time does get expanded real quick. Toyotas bolts are not the best quality and I have had them to snap and a 10 minute job turns into a 2 hour job.

Yesterday changing battery terminals took me an hour and a half, rusted/broken bolt. Should of been a ten minute job.

Where you live, during winter, I would be tempted to coat everything with a heavy coat of grease.
