Angry car dies after idle

so today i left my driveway and as soon as i began driving my check engine light comes on, so i turn back to my house, turn off the car and turn it on back on again, the check engine light goes off, so i think its just a glitch or something so i drive, however i notice some shaking when my car was at stops and when i was giving it gas it would not go good, so i kinda got scared turn back to my house and my check engine light goes on and off. Pull in my driveway check everything everything seems fine, 3 hours later i try to start it, it has a hard time starting, but it does start and it idled for myybe 10 seconds and dies, i try starting it again it starts(had trouble starting) and it was ideling for a couple of seconds when i noticed it was dieing again so i gave it some gas, seemed to help but then it started to die again, i shut the motor off and sense it was pretty late decided to leave it for tomorrow, i will run the test and see what the check engine light will tell me, is there anything else i should look for? spark plugs, cold start ingector....ect.

Probly need to read the code to see what's upset the ECU before tearing into it. My guess is the AFM. But's that a very wild guess.

AFM: Air Flow Meter. It's that thing with the wires plugged into it that normally sits on top of the air cleaner box. It measures the amount of air being drawn by the engine so the fuel injection can decide how much fuel to add.

i am actually starting to think its not my knock sensor(maybe i read the code wrong) but i am thinking its the disturbitor because the car had a hard time starting, then it was dieing and it also backfired, so it seemed like one of the pistons was not working or it was working wrong, alos i noticed the engine was shaking, but after checking the wiring on the disturbitor cap it stoped shaking and the sound of the engine was better than it used to be, i also noticed a loose connction on one of the disturbitor wires. Any idea of what else i should look at?
