This sounds like a stupid question on the surface but I have done a bit of research and I think someone here will know for sure. I have a 2000 4Runner and want some rubber mats. I like the Toyota all weathers in black but according to my local dealer they only come in gray and tan for my year 4Runner. In this thread w/ pics to Rock Slide's Runner he has what appears to be the 2003+ mats and they appear to fit nicely. He has a part # of PT908-89060-02. If you do a google search for this part number you come across a bunch of conflicting information. Some people/sellers have the gray/oak mats pictured next to this part number while others show the mats that resemble those in Rock Slide's truck. Does anyone know whether these mats are for the 2003 and up 4runners and will work in the 3rd gens? I thank you for your help. And yes, I have asked Rock Slide, he believes these are for the 3rd gen but the part # and local dealers have me worried to order something that may not fit.

i have them on my 01'. They are not a perfect fit, just a little big but they definitely work. I am very happy with mine. www.trdparts4u.com has great prices on them.

Thanks, I got an email from Greg from www.toyotaparts.com and he says Toyota changed the part # for the gray and oak mats which are no longer available. They are now only available in black (fine by me) and they will supposedly fit. The older gray and oak ones appear a different style, Greg assured me the balck mats look like thos in Rock Slide's 4Runner. I think I'll place an order.
