When ordering my 5.29 ring and pinion....
I have a 90' pickup that i bought with a chevy350 fab'd in. which naturally had a 3.0 i am now droppin in a 22r because the gas prices here in Hawaii are RIDICULOUS!!! so my question is.... when ordering my 5.29 ring and pinion set... what do i order v6 gears? being that the stalk motor was the 3.0 or do i order 4cyl gears? because i'm putting in a 4 banger... i could really use the help thanks....

You would put in v6 gears. Unless they swapped but they probably wouldn't have, and by the way, you can put more than one question in one thread. It is an 8" differential if you need to know for any reason, 8" V6.

What transmission is behind the 350? With an overdrive and the right gearing the 350 could get just as good or better gas milage than the 22re, especially with big tires on it.
