Running Lean, Vacuum Leak?
Hey Everyone, First Off I'm New To The 4runner World, And I'm Loving It! I Haven't Had The Truck For A Month Yet And I've Done The Deck Plate Mod, Removed Air Silencer, And Painted My Wheels Black.
My Problem Is: After I Drove The Runner Home From The Dealer They're Were No Probs And It Had Passed Emissions And Ran Great. A Few Days Later The Trac, Vcs, And Engine Light All Turned On, Still Ran Great. Took It To Auto Zone And They Said The Code Came Up Running Lean, Vacuum. I've Checked All The Vacuum Lines In Sight For Cracks Or Being Loose But Everything Looks Ok. Last Weekend I Went Up North And Everything Was Fine Till I Started Up A Steep Hill. Once I Hit 3,000 Rpm And 70 miles per hour, I Lost Most Power And Bogged Out The More Gas I Gave It. After I Shifted Into O.d. And The Rpms Went Back Under 3 Grand Everything Went Back To Normal. Can Anyone Tell Me What Else To Look For Or How To Get It Diagnosed? I've Check Past Threads But Not Had Much Luck

Never hurts to follow the entire intake system from the box back and make sure everything is hooked up and in good condition. When exactly did you do these mods by the way? Double check the ISR mod set up for sure. Any extra air in past "the sniffer" (MAFS) will create a lean condition. After double checking everything, let us know.
