don't touch the factory primary main jet ONLY the Primary IDLE jet which is what you would go up on NOT the main jet.

Your not supposed to change the main jets, only the idle jet. Did you read the above mentioned procedure on how to tune these? I bet that "tech" on the phone didn't. If you asked him what lean best idle adjustment meant, I bet he wouldn't know.

As alot of people slap the thing on don't read the directions that come with it then bash the carb. I have had 0 issues with the carb on mine, just the crappy two-piece adapter which I remedied this weekend buy using the 1 piece transdapt adapter. Oh and the occasional stalling when off-road but that;'s to be expected from most carb's that haven't been modified to handle bouncing around and such.
sorry to hijack. how do you like the transdapt adapter ? i've been considering the lc engineering adapter but i can get this 1 somewhat cheaper and I know thats not always the best thing.

I woulda looked to see what you are working with inside that carb or ask him what he did with it and exactly which jets he changed before spending 4-5 bucks a piece on jets I didn't need. As far as the transdapt I've only drove it once with it. See my build thread at the end.
