Steelseal pros-cons??
I blew a head gasket on my 3vze 155000 miles, just wondering if anyone has tried this stuff? I have a friend that swears by the stuff but I think there are some pretty knowledgeable folks on here whos opinions I would trust more, thanks in advance

If you need to drive this and the time and money to do the head gaskets just is not there.
Knowing this is just for the most a temporary fix at best till another failure occurs 3months 6 months a little longer.
I do say follow the directions I also loop the hose to keep it out of the heater core.
Sometimes you have no choice. But this is for me only a last resort.

Temporary fix at best....kills any of the following at worst: radiator, WP, heater core, engine (due to overheating after killing radiator/WP, etc.).
After using a similar product:

Thanks for the replies, ( Really liked wabbits ) me thinks it will just have to set till we get the cash flowing in the right direction again. rworegon, that looks like the stuff you see in those bottles you can buy at auto parts stores that looks like it has toilet paper floating in it. The steelseal product is clear(blue tint) Thanks again!
